The Ottawa West End Studio Tour Returns This September

What: A free art studio tour featuring 19 artists at 15 stops

When: Saturday September 19th & Sunday September 20th, with a more intimate bonus weekend September 26th – 27th

Time: 11 – 5 pm

Where: Ottawa neighbourhoods of Westboro, Wellington West and Hintonburg

Ottawa’s best free art event is back! The West End Studio Tour (WEST) is one of Ottawa’s longest-running free cultural events and is the city’s original open art experience. Come and meet 19 of the city’s artists and ask the questions you’ve always wanted to ask. Buy original art or simply wander, soak it all in, and see where the tour takes you.

The first weekend, September 19th & 20th, will be the full tour with all artists exhibiting, while the following weekend will be a pared-down bonus tour with 7 stops.

WEST is also delighted to announce a new partnership with the Parkdale Food Centre. Each of the tour stops will feature a donation jar with a QR code for those who wish to support the amazing work of the Centre. Plus, most of the stops will also be accepting donations of new and gently used art supplies to pass along to the families under the Parkdale Food Centre’s umbrella. WEST artists support creativity and balance, supplying people of all ages with tools to explore and create.
